The Phoenicians founded the town of Almuñecar two thousand years ago. It is located 47 miles away from Granada and 53 miles away from Malaga, in a tropical valley on the "Costa Tropical". The average temperature in the winter is 65ºF and 80ºF in the summer. Almuñecar is a favorite holiday resort for people from Madrid, Granada and all the north of Spain.
The school is located in the historic part of the town, 215 yard away from the beach. The facility includes a large common room, a study hall, video-TV area, a reading room, a video library and a large rooftop terrace with a beautiful view on the tropical valley. The school is only open from late June until late September.
